Job Description
Ministry of Railways has announced fresh vacancies across all Zonal Railways for Undergraduate candidates. Recruitment is conducted to fill positions such as Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Trains Clerk, and Commercial cum Ticket Clerk.

Salary / Pay Scale: Pay Level-2 (₹19,900 initial pay) & Pay Level-3 (₹21,700 initial pay) plus standard railway allowances
Exam Pattern
CBT-1: 100 Questions (General Awareness 40, Mathematics 30, General Intelligence & Reasoning 30) for 90 minutes. 1/3rd negative marking.
Syllabus
Number System, Decimals, Algebra, Geometry, General Science, Current Affairs, Reasoning & Analytical Ability.
Required Documents
Passport size photo, signature, Class 10/12 certificate, Category certificate, Aadhaar card.
Eligibility Criteria
Citizen of India, medical fitness standard (A-2, A-3, or C-2 depending on the post).
Educational Qualification: 12th (+2 Stage) pass or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate for UR/EWS/OBC.
Age Limit: 18 to 33 years (Cut-off date: 01 January 2027)
Age Relaxation: SC/ST: 5 years, OBC: 3 years, PwBD: 10 to 15 years
